A warm morning back in Newmarket

I flew out to Spain yesterday and Mrs D and the kids are set to join me this afternoon, so just a very quick update before I enjoy a few days relaxation. A little windy first thing but we should hit 30 degrees later on.

Queensbury Odyssey lines up in the mile maiden at Nottingham and the step up in trip should see him in a better light. The bare form of the race is nothing special, although most are entitled to improve now tackling nurseries and it would be dangerous to write anything off.

A busy week upcoming on the runners front with Kafoo, God Willing and Island Authority heading to Chelmsford tomorrow while on Wednesday Taqneen runs at Newcastle, Mulhaam runs at Chepstow and Scrutinise heads to Kempton.

We made 17 entries for the weekend including Sharaakah in the Sweet Solera at Newmarket and Red Galileo in the Rose Of Lancaster at Haydock.

I’ll leave it there. Enjoy the sunshine back home – it seems the forecasters are predicting another warm spell, at least for the south.
