Our runners last week ran well and we were unlucky not to have one or two winners with Global Art only going down by a neck at Chelmsford and Sir Gnet and Toro Dorado filling the place spots. We are hoping that we will reach the winning line first today with Homesick Boy who we hope has an excellent chance at Wolverhampton.

This son of Data Link has not been the easiest horse to work out but we feel things are beginning to click for him with a brilliant win at Chelmsford two starts ago, where he drew clear and won very impressively.  He was then unlucky not to make it back to back wins at Chelmsford again when going down by half a length two weeks later.

He has seen a 10lb rise in the weights since his win and we have opted to jock up Angus Villiers a 7lb claimer who is in a rich vein of form to give us every chance. The race has plenty of pace in it which will suit him and we will look for him to be ridden in midfield again. The ones to beat on form are Herm, who is a consistent galloper with form at Wolverhampton and Lafillia, who is a consistent type and with 5lb claimer Toby Eley booked to ride could be quite well in.

We at the yard are hopeful of a strong performance and will be cheering on Homesick Boy hoping he gets up for The Old Etonian Racing Syndicate.
