Monsajem (USA)

Chesnut Colt
DOB: 01 Jan 1995
Woodman (USA) x Fairy Dancer (USA) (Nijinsky (CAN))

He started off his racing career with Godolphin where he won his maiden as a two-year old. He came to us as a three-year old where he made the frame in handicap company.

As a four-year-old, Monsajem won two red-hot handicaps and he finished third in three Listed races, including the Jane Seymour Stakes. At the end of 2002, he went to the Autumn Horses In Training Sale where he was sold for 115,000 guineas. He was sent to Darrell Vienna, who trains in California.

Monsajem is a well-bred horse by Woodman out of Fairy Dancer, who is half sister to the peerless Sadler's Wells. He is a brother to Mellifont, who won in America, and a half-brother to several winners including Adjudicate, who won in Ireland and was later successful abroad.
