Mischief Making

Brown Filly
DOB: 27 Apr 2005
Lemon Drop Kid x Fraulein (Acatenango)
Owner: Cliveden Stud

Mischief Making is a well-bred filly from a family that we know well, having trained her mother, Fraulein, to Grade 1 success in Canada.

Having shed her maiden tag at the fourth attempt by landing a Southwell handicap, Mischief Making then notched a hat-trick, winning at Wolverhampton at Catterick. After a quiet midsummer, she ran in the Listed River Eden Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield and, despite being sent off at 33-1, posted a wide-margin career best to score by three quarters of a length.

As a four-year-old, Mischief Making made a pleasing reappearance in the Group 3 Sagaro Stakes at Ascot, but she failed to build on that form in three of her four subsequent starts, despite finishing a half-length third in Listed company in the September. She was retired to stud at the end of that summer with plenty of black type to her name.
