Global Acclamation

DOB: 19 Apr 2016
Acclamation x High Luminosity (Elusive Quality)
Owner: Global Group Lifestyle and Sports Club

This horse is a son of Acclamation who was a smart sprinter and was placed in the Nunthorpe as well as winning the Gr.2 Diadem Stakes over 6f. He has proven himself a high quality stallion, his most notable progeny including Equiano, Marsha and Aclaim. His son Expert Eye produced a sensational performance last summer when winning the Gr.2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood and has since gone on to win the gr.3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Global Acclamation is out of High Luminosity, an unraced daughter of Elusive Quality who has already produced one winner from one runner. Her dam Denebola was French Champion two-year-old filly, landing the Gr.1 Prix Marcel Boussac in 2003, whilst the further family includes Gr.1 winners Machiavellian, Bago, Maxios and Coup De Genie, amongst others.

Global Acclamation made his debut at Salisbury in October, and three quick runs over various distances earned him a mark of 63 for nursery debut. He was a bit of a disappointment when making said handicap debut at Kempton over seven-furlongs in November, but Gerald Mosse was adamant after unsaddling that a mile was needed. His mark has been reduced to 60 as a result, and we hope that he can make the most of it in due course.
