Ex Nassaakh

Bay Colt
DOB: 10 Mar 2017
Tamayuz x Nassaakh (Cape Cross)

This attractive February-born colt is out of the versatile Tamayuz and an unraced Cape Cross mare.

There can hardly be a broodmare sire in better form than Cape Cross (thanks to the Derby win of Masar and ongoing exploits of Laurens), so the lack of confirmed racing ability of the mare Nassaakh is easily forgiven.

Indeed, her pedigree credentials are compelling. She is out of the French Listed winner Mahaatheer, who is in turn out of the Listed winner Al Ihtithar, and a sibling of the Listed-placed Mustaqer. The family extends back to the Gr.2 winners Samsaam and Steward.

The sire Tamayuz was a top-class miler for Freddy Head, winning the Gr.1 Prix Jean Prat and Gr.1 Prix Jacques le Marois during a short but successful career. He has gone on to notable success as a stallion, producing a diverse but high-quality band of offspring to date, including the Gr.1 winning sprinter G Force, the high-class miler Mustashry, and  the classy stayer Desert Skyline – amongst numerous other pattern winners.

The colt is doing everything right to this point, so we hope he will continue to develop and progress into a useful performer next year.
